The Boathouse Visitor Centre, conveniently located at the south side of the harbour, houses a collection of artefacts, photographs, images and articles gathering together the Island’s past and present. The Boathouse staff are on hand to answer any questions, and are happy to give directions and recommend walks and much more.
Open Monday-Saturday, 9.00am – 5.oopm (closed for lunch, 1.00-1.30), April through September. From late May, the Boathouse will also open on Sundays, 12.00pm – 4.00pm.
Admission is free; limited wheelchair access.
