Rathlin Ferry Service Ltd. operates the following ferry:
- Glad Tidings – a 70 passenger fast ferry with indoor seating. Approximately 25 minute crossing (please note that due to no government subsidy, Rathlin Ferry Service Ltd. cannot offer free travel to Smart Pass holders).
Passengers are advised to arrive to the ferry, ‘Glad Tidings’ approximately 15 mins prior to departure. Passengers can board the ferry in Ballycastle’s outer harbour, which is signposted.

Rathlin Ferry operates two ferries:
- Kintra II – Passenger-only ferry. Approximately 25 minute crossing (please note they don’t take luggage or prams).
- Spirit of Rathlin (SOR) – A larger ferry which can accommodate luggage and a small number of pre-booked vehicles. Approximately 40 minute crossing.
