East Lighthouse Development Project – Project Coordinator Role

 

The East Light Development Project is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the next phase of development for the East Lighthouse site on Rathlin Island. Working with the Rathlin Development & Community Association, Future Island-Island and a dedicated Project Board, this role will help guide the adaptive reuse and long-term development of this significant coastal heritage site.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to an ambitious community-led regeneration project that brings together sustainability, heritage, tourism, creativity and economic development within a rural island context.

The successful candidate will coordinate project development across a number of interconnected strands including:

 business planning and financial modelling

 funding strategy and grant development

 stakeholder and community engagement

 tourism and product development

 project coordination and reporting

We are looking for someone with strong organisational and communication skills, experience of managing complex projects, and the ability to work collaboratively across sectors and communities. Experience in regeneration, heritage, tourism, social enterprise or community-led development would be advantageous.

Location: Hybrid, with a minimum of one day per week on Rathlin Island

Salary: £38,000 pro rata

Contract: Fixed-term, 12 months (fractional option considered at 3 days per week over 18 months)
