Our Mission
Our mission is to help the nature of Rathlin recover and to help the community thrive.
Islands make up around 5% of the Earth’s surface, but support over 40% of the world’s Endangered and Critically Endangered birds, mammals, amphibians and reptiles. They are epicentres of extinction. But extinctions can be prevented if introduced predators are removed.
The LIFE Raft project aims to help create safe nesting habitats for seabirds and landbirds.
