Before…

Congratulations and thanks to all involved with the planting of pollinator flowers by the Boathouse recently. Funded by a Live Smart grant from Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, the new flower bed was specially created to help develop a little bit more of the right kind of habitat for the many different kinds of bees and butterflies on Rathlin.

Live Smart “aims to encourage, inform and involve all our residents, businesses and visitors to live more lightly on our planet by taking simple steps to protect our environment”, and this project will do that, AND make a previously neglected corner of the island into something pretty special looking.
