Nicky Sebastian RIP

We are very saddened to learn of the passing of Nicky Sebastian on Monday after a short illness. Our deepest sympathies to her husband Hugh Hainey, and to the whole family. Hugh and Nicky’s family would like to thank everyone for their tremendous support at this time.

“Marigold Susan ‘Nicky’ Sebastian (Rathlin Island) passed peacefully in Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Monday 18th August 2025, a much loved wife of Hugh Hainey, adored mother of Adela, Emma & Pablo, grandmother of Jacob, Katy, Edward, Anna & Tom, a cherished great-grandmother of baby Beau and sister of Tim and the late James, late of 5 Ballynagard Cottages, Rathlin Island, BT54 6SB. 𝐑.𝐈.𝐏

Requiem Mass for Marigold Susan will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s & St. Brigid’s Church, Ballycastle on Wednesday 27th August at 10:00am.

Deeply regretted by her loving family and many friends.
